toyo m/t's and wheels

im wanting to get 35x12.5 18 toyo m/t's and i only want them to stick out the sides by about 1-2" what backspacing should i need to get for this to be possible


btw im going to get a 4" superlift

my truck is 5.4L 4x4

i assume your truck is an '04-up. using the stock rims a 35x12.50 would stick out 3/4'' further. If you found an 18x9 with 5'' backspacing it would stick out about 2.75'' further. and with 5.5'' bs 2.25''.

use a 8" wide rim with 5" of backspacing and you should be happy.

ya my truck is an 04 thanks for the replies

so how far would a 18x9 wheel w/ 5" backspacing stick out

That would be 2 inches more than stock, check with Superlift on the front wheel specs for that lift to be sure.

Just to give you an idea, here's a picture of my truck. 35" Toyo Muds on 18 x 8.5" wheels with 5.75" of backspacing. I have the Rancho 4" lift which increases the front track width about 1" on each side over the rear (barely noticable):
