Which Tires

Its time for new tires and i am trying to get them tommorow morning. I am not sure which ones to get. I mostly drive on the road, occasionally i go offroad. Also i hate spinning the tires on wet services when i dont want to like my current tires do. I also do drive fast in corner trying to change that. Anyway What i think i am leaning toward is. Cooper STT or mastercraft Courser M/T or BFG All Terrain T/A KO (i liked them i think they wore out fast though) What tires would you suggest. Either the ones i listed or any other ones you all think would be good.

if u spend the majority of the time on the street, I would go with the BFG A/T....they are a good tire for the money. The Mastercraft M/T is a good tire for more offroad use, I have ran them in the past and have only gotten 25,000-30,000 miles out of them. Just my .02

another tire to look into is the **** cepek fcII. i have these on my truck, they are a very quiet tire and you are supposed to be able to get about 50,000 miles on them.

You mentioned the Mastercraft MT, did you look at the Mastercraft C/T? Just put a set on my 03 and through one hunting trip in the CO mountains they did great, averaged 19-20mpg on the highway to and from Denver. They do tend to hum a bit though, at any speed.

hey all thanks for you advice. I ended up purchasing cooper Discover STT Now my only concern is what psi should i run them at. The truck says 36 but these are 10 ply tires load range E. Right now i have them set at 40 psi.

Wouldn't that be the rating for your factory tire, which would certainly have different specs than the STT's?
