325/60/20?

I have a set of the 325/60/20 bfg km2 on my screw with a 2.5"
leveling kit the tires rub at full lock only on everyday driving
conditions however while offroading they are going to be a problem
what are my opinions?

1-body lift
2-suspension
3-?????

I don't really have the funds to do the suspension now

thanks for any help

body lift, going bigger is never a bad thing! and they can be quite cheap if you are pretty handy and can do the work yourself.

you could also, nobody hurt me cause I am as big a fan of bigger tires as anybody, go down to a 305 or something.......that is if, and only if you don't wanna shell out the money for a body lift.

I will be honest, I freaking love your truck, the color, toolbox, love the oem 20's and 325's stuffed!

you could try a spacer up front, not the best solution (i ran 1/2" spacers on my silverado, it worked for me til i bought new rims) , but it might work for ya, but your still gonna rub. the other cheapest option is a body lift. i love your set up too, but those tires are damn pricey, but what get what ya pay for. i dont think a body would look too bad on your truck

I suppose if you went body lift you would probly need to get some different wheels too that would stick those tires out a little, still gonna rub on control arm anyways bl won't fix that.

I'd go with a 9 inch wide wheel with 5 to 6 inches of bs.

I'm not positive about the oem 20's. The 17's and 18's are 7.5 inches wide with 5.5 inches of bs. I think the 20's also have 5.5 inches of bs but are 8.5 inches wide.

I wouldn't go with less than 5.5" backspace and no more than 6" with that wide of a tire, other wise it will rub on the upper A arms. I've got 20x9 rims with 6" BS and running the BFG K/O in a 285/65/20 (34.6 x 11.2 compared to a 35.6 x 12.8 ) and it just clears.

Your truck looks great with the OEM rims and BFG's, I'd probably just put on a body lift.

You could always put the stock Junk-a-rellies back on until you have the funds to lift it. Or you could buy a smaller tire, that option really doesnt make sense though. On the spacer issue, I would stay away from those. I tried a 1/4" spacer on my front and the shop worked for 2 days trying to get a terrible steering wheel shake corrected, they never could fix it. I dont like spacers at all, thats just my opinion though. Good luck.

I could be wrong about this, but if the tires rub on the A arm a body lift would not solve the issue, would it? I have thought about aftermarket wheels, but am afraid the 325's would rub on the fender flar due to being pushed out.

the km2 must be wider than the a/t because i had to run the .25" spacer to get them off the ball joint and had to do some trimming

the body lift was just an idea to get a little more room in between the tire and fender

what is gonna end up happening is this is gonna end up on the classified section so i can start over with the rize setup

would the 325 with an 8" would look to small

Hey 07 screw,

Sorry about the troubles, I'm trying to avoid the same. Dogem- do you think your 285's on the stock 20's would ride the same as yours with no rubbing, etc? I don't have any idea of the oem backspacing, etc.
