Just an FYI - I was able to buy a set of OEM rims and nearly new Goodyear Wrangler AT/S tires (275/65/18) from the local Ford dealer for only $400 all in. These are take-offs, so now warranty. But my plan is to have two sets of wheels/tires - one for daily driving in town and the other for when we go to the ranch or the hunting lease. I plan to add the 2.5" leveling kit and put some larger mud tires on the extra set of wheels.

I just wanted to pass this along since I didn't realize that the dealers would sell the take-off rims and tires so cheap. The tires alone are worth over $900 new !

Congrats! that IS a deal.

my dealer did not wanna deal...well, they were willing to add $1K to the note to swap the OEM Hankook tires for something more suited to off-roading, i said forget that. went to Pep-Boys and took advantage of the 'Buy3 get the 4th free' deal.
