Question Can I put custom rims on stock 20inch pirellis?

Hello. I have a 2007 FX2 with the oem 20s. The tires have 5000 miles onthem, so I would like to get new wheels and keep the stock tires. Is this possible? Any suggestions would be great:

I think it should be fine. I am not sure how wide the stock 20's are but my advice would be to find a wheel with a similar rim width. For example the FX4 wheels are 7.5" wide, so I would try to find an 8" wide wheel. You shouldn't have any problems with backspacing because those stock tires are so small anyways. Hopefully this helps anyone correct me if I'm wrong.

I have aftermarket wheels on my stock OEM Pirellis until they wear out. Check my gallery for more pics!

Depending on what size the stock tires are, they will. I have a Set if Pirilli's on a 20x8.5 inch rim. They are 275/55-20.
