305/55 R20 NITTO TG...will it fit??

Ok...after reading all the good info on tire fitment in this forum, I think it be best for me to go with a 305/55R20 (If I did my math thats = to 33x12x20?).

I currently have 275/55R20 on a 20x9.5 rims with approx 5.5 to 6 inch BS....this setup gives me roughly 1 1/4 inch space between 275's inner wall and upper control arm.

The 305/55's should fit ok right? Shouldn't rub upper control arm should it?

Only Tire I found in a 305/55 R20 are the NITTO TG and the Micky Thomson AT....anyone know of more in this size?

I believe the Mickey Thompson ATZ and Pro Comp Xtreme AT are also available in 305/55-20.

305/55/20 Nitto TG's on 8.5" wheels. Not sure on backspacing but there is no rubbing. I do have the AS leveling kit up front.

A 305/50-20 is approximately a 32x12.50 tire. A 305/55-20 is approximately a 33x12.50 tire. If you want the exact height and width, look at the manufacturer's websites.

Thanks! Opinions may vary but I don't think I could go any bigger with the wheels that I have. I'm certainly not the expert so other wheels may net you a different result.

My wheels are 20x8.5 MB Yuma's. You can check with Discount on the offset if that would help.

Hey moveqik,

What's the backspacing on your wheels? I'm looking at some new wheels and the ones I want are 20x8.5 with 6" of backspace. I want to make sure that those will fit on 305/55/20 Nitto TG's with my AS 2.5" leveling kit.

Again....not sure about the backspacing. Sorry! They are MB Yuma's from Discount. I would check with them. They should know.
