05EXTCABFLARE....Your truck looks awesome!!

It's deffinately the look Im trying to get when I purchase new tires. I originaly wanted to go with a 35x13.50x20 but since my current after market wheels are 20 inch there were concerns a 35 tire would rub.

At any rate......after looking at yours setup I believe I could get the 33x13.50R20 to fit without rubbing the upper control arm with just a 2.5"AS lift.(Your gallery pics where very helpful). That was my main concern.

Would you happen to know the back spacing on your wheels??

Anybody disagree or have diff opinion? I'm deffinately not an expert and would value any info on this matter.

Thanks!

05EXTCABFLARE, I see you have a picture of a Ford Workorder, titled 'No power". Whats that all about? I also have an 05 and have felt that it is severly underpowered, but have never brought it in.

I been complaining to a local ford dealership about this problem since it was new. Then I purchased my camper and noticed it would pull it. 40mph top speed on flats pulling the camper. Bought a xcal2 af1 3.5, and siso exhaust. Had it dynoed at troyer perf and they noticed no power issue also. They felt the IMRC Valve not opening but wasn't sure. Took it to another dealer. "open class#11"(f150online member) suggested take it to another dealer. So I did. Dropped it off and called them next day. They told me there was definite problem but wasn't sure yet. They had it for 2 weeks and found bad IMRC stuck closed. After they fixed it. Boy what a difference. There was no check engine or nothing. No signs of being bad except no power. Started fine and everything. I guess it like old 4 barrel carb. When you need more power it opens up. I had low end but no top end. When it hit 2500 rpm It didn't pull at all. It like it fell on it face.

Thnx 05extcabflare.....looked at ford141 setup. Nice, but like yours better...lol.

I'd like to fit 35's like yours on my current 20 inch wheels (W/ just 2.5 AS) but I may have to go with 18's to do 35's.

Anyway....still lookin for anyone runnin 20X9 inch after market wheels with 33's (or 35's) and only have a 2.5 leveling kit rather than a 6 inch lift.

Those Extreme AT's look great!!
How much room between upper control arm and inside of tire do you have?

I have 20x9 inch wheels and I was concerned 13.5 wide tire may rub control arm.

I had 325x60x20 on this truck(with 2.5" leveling kit) which i think is 35x12.5x20 with 6"of back space with no rubbing on the upper control arm but was every close you might need to use a spacer with the 13.5 wide tires[IMG][/IMG]

325/60R20 comes out to be 35.4x13x20 ....So your probably right. If add another 1/2 inch of width I'm sure to rub upper cntrl arm.

I believe you have Toyo AT's on your old truck and they look Damn nice!!

I could live with that.....

I would go ahead and put the 33x13.5x20 procomp's on. You will like that tire better i just put some on my truck. They have a more offroad look but ride smooth and have very little road noise. I used the same wheels on this truck but because of the liftkit im using a 1/4 wheel spacer.
