..looking for some new tires!

..im in desperate need of some new tires, and i dont know the 1st thing about em, i want a tire that has that aggressive look but that will also last me a good while, i just read a thread about nitto's not being that good on wear and their too loud, im stuck on bfg km2's and toyo's? i just want to know from the experts before hand. i have already bfg a/t ko 285-70-17 but i bought em with the truck used, so i wouldnt know how they wear, and what would be the next biggest tire that would be good with a 3 inch body lift 4x2? sorry i dont know alot and im asking alot of question.

I have nitto TG's and I will get 40k out of them. I rotate them every 6k. As far as them being loud, i dont think they are.

It's the Nitto Mud Grapplers that are so loud. I'd suggest the BFG's, Toyo's, Mickey T MTZ, **** Cepek Mud Country or the Pro Comp Xtreme MT.

ok so nittos are out of the picture, even though they look good!

TonkaTruck33- so 35's wouldnt fit with just the 3 inch lift?

plus if i get 35's wouldnt i have to get the gears changed and alot of trimming, and etc? i just want some bigger tires then my 285?

i was checking and the bfg km2 dont have a size for 17's...which is weird. i would prefer 17s over 18, but i wouldnt throw it out of the picture.

Yeah, on a 4x2 with a body lift you are gonna be limited to 33's unless you lift it more. What year is your truck.

i think u would have to do a little bit of trimming to fit with just a 3" body lift. and there are people here running 35's on a 2x4 and dont need to regear, but most of them are running 6' lifts. just letting u know about my tires if ur interested here are some pics
https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=295287

if u have the 3' body and leveling kit. im more than sure they will fit.

so now im looking into the leveling kits! the "readylift" 3 inch plus my 3 inch body lift would easily fit 35's? plus im still confused bout the gears and breaks?do i still need to change all that stuff?
