I searched and was unable to find a write up detailing front rotor and pad replacement on a 99 f150 2wd..a large part of my confusion is surrounding the difference between 2wd rotors and 4wd..in my search i got the impression that the rotors on the 2wd are an entire hub assembly and the 4wd are not..anyway any help finding a good write up..possible with pictures will.. be greatly appreciated..thanks in advance guys.

 

The 2wd rotor is held on by the spindle nut and the 4wd rotor is held on by the lug nuts.

 

Go to Autozone and grab you a HAYNES manual. Plenty of pics in there. It is my # 1 repair tool for my truck and F150online Forums covers everything the book doesn't, and, has more of a personable outlook to do's and don'ts. LOL
