Question before I order tires and leveling kit!

So after a long time of researching I am finally going to order tires and a leveling kit. I plan on getting 285/65/r20 (34.5 Diameter 11.5ish wide) BFG All Terrains with the 2" AS leveling kit. I have a 2007 F150 Supercrew with the 20" OEM wheels. I see a few people running these tires with a 2.5" leveling kit, but will they fit with a 2"?

Thanks,

they will fit perfectly fine with no problems, I run 35x12.5's on mine with only the 2" AS so you will be just fine.

Thanks Smitty....Does your truck sit pretty level or does it have some front rake to it? The reason I want to go with the 2" instead of the 2.5" is because I do not want the front nose of my truck sticking up. I do not mind front rake.

I just had the 2" leveling kit and 33" BFG AT installed and it looks great. You can barely tell that the front sits a C hair lower. I was amazed at how much it changed the look of the truck. I went from 31's to 33's. The front of the truck went up almost 4".

It's going to depend on your truck. I got the 2.5" and I sit almost an inch and half taller in the front. 2" will more than likely put you at level based on what others have gotten out of these level kits. I'm just an odd ball I guess.

Ricky Bobby, that is only a 2" kit on your truck? I looked in your gallery and the front end is noticably higher. I was thinking of adding a 2" instead of the 2.5" to mine just because I tow a trailer alot and dont wont the front end up in the air but if you just have a 2" maybe I should reconsider. Do you have anything in the bed of your truck in the photo?

Nope nothing in the bed, picture is deceiving just a bit due to the fact that I am standing on the crown in the road and my truck is leaning a bit... but no doubt the nose is high...guess I will be adding the aal sooner than I thought

I put on the 2.5 as on the front, and the blocks on the rear (added 1.5 total lift on the rear). The rear was a cinch to install, and I didn't like the look I see on the street often where trucks look like a boat before it planes. Why not consider the rear blocks? I got a 2" lift at the midpoint of the truck.

I'm new to these kits so if this is a dumb question, sorry, but if you add a 2.5" to the front to level it with the rear why would you raise the rear 1.5"?

What about the 1.5" AS leveling kit? This would give you extra clearance in the front, but should not even be close to giving you that nose up look...Do yall think this could clear the 285/65/20 (34.5 11.5) with a 1.5" leveling kit?
