Cooper S/T or S/T-C
Which one should I go with, or should I go with something total diff? Im mainly going to use these for highway miles. I live in Alaska so I have quiet a bit of snow and ice. I will be moving to Tennessee in about 6 months, so I want something I can use down there. I will be driving from Alaska to Tennessee so I need something duriable. One last thing. I have a 05 SCREW 4X4. I want to fit 35s on. Do I need a leveling lift in the front or should I put put a lift all the way around. I also have to take in consideration that I will be hauling a trailor on my trip. Ive also read that 35s have horible gas milage. So should I go with 33s? Im running an AF1 intake and an Evo in my truck if that has any bearing on the tires I should go with.
Thanks

I just got some 285/70/17 Toyo OpenCountry A/T's. They are almost the same as Nitto TerraGrapplers. After 3 weeks of driving on them I am very happy. We have had 6" of snow and 1/2" of ice and these tires hookup no matter what. They are also comparable to stock tires in the noise department. Check out this site www.td4l.com. Hope this helps.

I've had Cooper's in the past and were satisfied with them, all I can speak for now is a set of BFG 315x70x17 AT's and I also have a set of Toyo 285x70x17 AT's, both of these are great tires for everyday use, minor offroading and are great for towing. Have pics in my gallery of both tires shown on my truck. BFG's are 35" and the Toyo's 33".

The Toyo's wear extremely well on road. Just put a set of 10 ply Mastercraft Courser C/T's on (made by cooper and almost exact same tread pattern as the S/T). So far in about 6" of snow they've handled very well and on dry road they do great. They are a little noisy, but turn the stereo up a little and don't notice it much any more
