20in rims for off road?

I am looking to buy a 98 150sc 4x4. Right now it has 20in 5 spoke rims with 305/150r20 mud and snows on them. I plan to use this truck for some off road and hunting. Will I need to trade out tires and rims, or just tires?
Thanks

Depends how aggressive you want to get. I see a lot of people mud and crawl with 20s. Just gotta be careful. My tires have about a 1/8" lip between the sidewall and wheels to protect the wheels, so I'm not real worried about scuffing them.

Personally, I like at least a 35 inch tall tire on 20's. I'd throw a lift on it and buy some 35x12.50-20's.
