the traction on these things are killer. you wouldn't believe how the handle in snow and ice. i live in abq, nm and we got 14 inches of snow one day and 13 inches the next and the whole place was frozen over. 2wd and i had no problems driving 17 miles across town to work.
and if you read abq, nm.... you know we don't have jack **** for snow clearing stuff so i thought i did dang good

I have Proxies on the Exploder. They're AOK in the summer and light snow. In the winter, however, I switch to Hankook studded pikes and they're A MONSTER on Ice and Snow. 18" is the limit, but anything less that is good.
