MB Razor Wheels?

I found some MB Razor Wheels at size 17 x 8.5 that I could put on my 97' Scab. Has anybody heard of these wheels? I couldn't find the offset for this particular one and wondering if it would cause my 305/70/17 Buckshots to rub if the offset is not correct.

Discount Tire Direct and an Ebay Auction list the offset as -6mm.

Nice wheel, by the way.

I will defer to Wandell for the rubbing part of your question.

So with that would it put the tire to the outside more than stock wheels? That's an awesome price for a wheel that resembles the Mickey Thompson Classic II.

those are pretty sweet looking! You have a '97 so that means you have the 16'' rims? If so they are 7'' wide. Those rims have the same backspacing as your stock rims, so they would only stick out an extra 1.5''. I would assume you already have the t-bars cranked, if you don't I would imagine you would need to, and maybe trim a little of the valence. Soon as you get them (if you do) make sure and post pics I would like to see it.

My 97"s a Lariat so it has 17" wheels. I'm not set on getting wheels right now because if you look in the suspension or exhaust forums I'm trying to decide on getting the add a leaf for the rear and crank the torsion bars more. This could give me another 2-3" of lift which might clear my rubbing issues. Also looking for best price on Magnaflow High Flow Cats...Check those forums out if you have any suggestions.
Thanks

You will probably have to trim the front valance some, but they should fit.

So adding wider wheels w/ the same offset as factory actually causes more rubbing?

MB wheels are a Discount Tire Exclusive brand. www.wheelsbymbmotoring.com for details on them They are pretty nice. I have never seen a crapy product come from Discount tire.

The Razor with the -6mm offset 8.5" width for your vehicle is a pretty good fit. There shouldn't be enough rubbing that you couldn't fix it yourself.

I just took off a set of Razor wheels. First bought them with a set of Hancook tires, big mistake. Went to a set of Mich's and still had a vibration. Discount tire tried to balance them twice with no luck. Even did the Road Force and still had a vibration.

The wheels require a stick on weight that has to be put on on the inside. It makes for a nice looking wheel, but terrible ride.

I replaced them with "62's" that have the lip on the outside and will take a normal weight. Very small amount of weight required to balance with the Mich LTX tires.

So make sure that you are ok with the stick on weights.
