I have stock Pirellis. They are on 20 rims, and are 275's. 285's are not much bigger. Save your money, and get the 305's. I kinda have a feeling you will be happier with bigger.

Are talking about a 2" Add-A-Leaf or a 2" Leveling Kit (AutoSpring?)? I've got a 2" leveling kit and just put some 285/65/20's on my truck, no rubbing, but it's pretty tight. I think the 305's might have rubbing problems.

are you running the stock rims or what? i think the 285/65/20's look perfect on a 2 inch leveling kit. Shine is mistaken in tire size, the stock pirelli's are 275/55/20, the 285/65/20 are 34.5 inches high and the 305/55/20's are a tad over 33 inches depending on brand. if they are stock 20's the 285's will look awesome.

2" AS on 285/65/20's

I have yet to see anyone with OEM 20's and 305/55r20 BFG AT's. A few with after market rims and a few with toyo or cooper 305/55r20's on OEM rims, even 305/55r20 BFG KM2's but no AT's. (ETA: point being we don't truly know if they will rub.)

The 285/65/20's look GREAT but personally I don't want to go to a 35" tire.

Just for reference here are the sizes:

LT305/55R20/E 12.4 on 9.5 33.4"
LT285/65R20/E 11.5 on 8.5 34.7"

Go with the 285's you won't regret it. As for your wheels, if they have a backspace of 5.5" to 6" you won't have any problems.

I'll be going with 305's real soon. I will also be replacing my wheels. I think both the 285 BFG's and 305's are good choices. You won't go wrong with either.

It's the Putco Spiderweb Grille Insert and the front badge is a layover designed by the guys at www.patriotdecals.com
