Those with BFG Mud T/A KM2...noise level??

How are these tires as far as noise? I've had a set of the older style Mud T/A's and they were noisy but livable. These new ones seem like maybe they might be quieter since they are broken up a bit more and look like the lugs are a little closer together. Opinions??

They are supposed to be one of the quietest, anyone running them that can compare to other MT's they've had.

Tires are really quiet for a M/T and anyone that rides in my truck comments on how quiet there are. Compared to the BFG AT I've rode on there isn't much more hum (atleast not as much as you'd expect) and the ride is about as smooth. Can't compare to the old KM but from what I've heard from other people is that the KM 2 is slighty quieter and a bit smoother. In other words I love my KM 2's

Your truck is why I decided to look at the KM2's. I love the way they look on it. I think that's what I'm gonna get. I just can't decide whether to get 35/12.50/17 or 285/70/17 (33") to go with my 3.55 gearing. I'm concerned I will not be happy with the 35's and killing my power but not sure the 33's are big enough. I was not planning to re-gear anytime soon so...hmmm...

do you notice a big difference in power and mpg? I have the exact same truck as you so I figured I'd ask.

It still has plenty of power. It really isn't that much of a loss at all I think. MPG, well I just take it easy on the throttle. I have not really cared about measuring the mpg because I just don't want to know I would assume that I have lost a couple mpg's so probably around 13-14 city i'm guessing I was getting 16.5 before

I'm glad to hear the tires are turning out as BFG intended. I may try them on my own FX4 next.
