Talking Mud flaps

Yesterday I drove off the lot with a 2008 F150. This is my very first F150. I've been eyeing them forever and a day. I need to put on some mud flaps and have gotten more confused the longer I look at them. I'd hate to order something that won't fit. This is the basic F150 and it has no real bells and whistles. I have 17 inch wheels on it and will someday upgrade but I need to get the small things out of the way.

Go to www.4wheelparts.com
Enter your vehicle specifications and all that
And it will give you all the parts that will fit your truck when you search for them
Congrats on the truck

I currently have the stock Rear Mud Flaps on(check out the pix), had to remove the fronts to fit larger tires. I have the extra trim that might be the difference on fitment. In my humble opinion, stock mud flaps look alright...Good Luck!

Here ya go, get some factory mudflaps then sand your hands off, apply 3-4 coats of primer, sanding between coats to remove and fill any leftover texture and you can have them looking sharp, like mine!

Those flaps look nice but are they flexible? I know from my history that I can easily break off a solid flap.

I'm not big on mudflaps, but congrats on the truck. I've taken them off of every truck I've owned. Even the street queen I had.

You're going to love your F150 though. Mudflaps will soon grow into thousand dollar mods... Get off of this site while you still can...

Well I have not broken any flaps off before, as I don't off road , but I have hit a rock at some time and flexed the flap thus creating a few cracks in the paint which let to some paint flaking off, nothing that can't be fixed with a little more paint.

I would rate mud flaps as one of the ugliest mod u could do to your truck. Its a truck, so what if it has a little mud on the side.

It's not the mud that's the issue. We have a lot of salt on our roads. Even more on the less traveled ones. I had a pick up years ago that rotted away after 7 years. My Mazda is now 13 years old and the only rust on her body is the gas cap. I hardly get to wash my trucks. Every now and then they get rinsed but that's about it until the warmer weather comes.

I have a set of 4 brand new Huskyliners mudguards that I'd sell. They are the molded kind and fit the 04+ models WITH fender flares (aka wheel lip moldings).

$50 to your door if anyone's interested.
