Some updated pics of my fx4 rims i painted black this week,i really like the new look.What do you guys think?

I love it. Makes the truck look alot better.
I dont know much about painting but just wondering what type of paint you used that would stick and not chip away much.

Thanks guys,As long as you prep the rim right itll stick,i wet sanded them with 600 wet and dry paper.I used rustoleums black textured paint,its very hard finish and chip resistant.You can also clear over them too but i like the satin look myself.Ive also used duplicolors rim paint before on other rims and that holds up really well also.

how does it hold up when tires get mounted on them after paint?

If the tire machine has the black plastic adapter on it itll be fine if there careful.I do my own rims and tires so im careful anyway.I also do bodywork and paint and i have painted rims with a gun too ,i honestly think they hold up just as well with a can too.If you can afford powdercoat then go for it,but my local shop wants 400 to all 4.No thanks im happy with what i got.
