BFG AT's vs Nitto Terra Grapplers

Hi all,

I am looking at purchasing either the BFG AT's or the Nitto Terra Grapplers. I have had the BFG AT's before and loved them. I'm looking at sizes in the 33 x 12.5" range give or take and the BFG's(305/65r18) are $100 more per tire than the Nitto Terra Grappler(325/60r18). I have an F150 and don't really need the load range E of the BFG's.

Do the Nitto's wear as well as the BFG AT's? I'm considering the Nitto's since you can't not look at them when they are $100 less in cost.

thanks for your opinions!

Gerry

I have had both, on my 04 FX4 I had the BFG's I found they were great in great in the snow/sand but the tread went fast, Now I have Nitto terra grapplers on my 05 Lariat and I like these more they are great in the snow/sand but they seem to be lasting longer and I think they look better too.... my .02 for you

Thanks! Wow those do look good on your truck. After researching, I think I'm going to go with the Nittos. Thanks again!

Nittos all the way. Can't beat the price and after 15000 miles I don't have any signs of wear. I even have some nipples still on the tires.

man, looks like the one thats a 35 is 13" wide! My current tire is 12.5" wide which i would assume is about as wide as I shoudl go. What do yall think? R would I have to drop down to a 33?

If you are gonna use the oem wheels, I wouldn't go with a 13.00 inch wide (325mm) tire.
