Need tire/wheel advice
Just bought a 07 crew cab short box and it came with 17" steel/chromed wheels and 255/70/17 tires. I came across a good deal on a set of new 18" wheels that are off a 06 f150 lariat. I would like to get them and put some better tires on as well.
Seems like the stock size supplied with the Lariat 18" wheel is 275/65/18. My concerns are messing up the speedo, reduced ride quality, increased road noise, and reduced gas mileage. The tire is only 1" bigger in diameter and about 0.8" wider - so are my concerns valid?
Could i go with a 255/65, 265/65, or 275/60 instead? Do they even make those sizes, if so they might be oddballs and be expensive.
Suggestions?
Also, anyone have any recommendations on a bed mat/liner that works well?
Thanks in advance.

Congrats on your truck and welcome to the forum!
You've increased your tire diameter by about 3%, so @ 55 mph on your speedo you'll actually be a little under 57 mph. Not really a big deal, but you could have it recalibrated at a dealer or buy a tuner.
As far as ride quality and gas mileage, you won't notice any difference, all other things being equal. But if it were me, I'd put 33's on those 18's
