Exclamation Close to Buying Last Question

This is my last question before i buy but i just want to make sure. Is it possible to get 305-70-17 with a 2 inch leveling kit and this would be on the stock rims. I think these tires roughly come out to 33.9 inches. I would get the Nitto grapplers. I don't know if i have enough backspacing or if the tire will rub. I definitely do not want the tire rubbing. If someone could help me out i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

It says on the Nitto Website that they only make the 305-70-17 for a 17 rim that is 8 inches wide and mine is 7.5. Does it matter?

It will be fine. Just a little skinnier than the other but it will be fine.

the wider the wheel the more chances of rubbing
so if i had no rubbing with 8" wide wheels you definetely wont have any rubbing with 7.5" wide wheels...

A lot of people run 315's on stock wheels with no problems.

yea but i was thinking about getting only a 2 inch leveling kit...all of you have a 2.5 leveling kit. Would the 33.9 fit? O and Russ how are the Buckshots?...are they quiet and ride smooth? Thanks

Okay, sorry, it's late & I'm a little slow...So just to be clear, I have a 2007 4x4 SCrew w/a 2.5" leveling kit.

1.Will I have any problems if I install a 305/70/17 (32.8"x12"x17")?

2. Is it correct that my rim size must be 9inches or less?

3. Does my backspacing matter, and if it does is 5.5" of backspacing okay?

4. Is it better for the fitment for the backspacing to be higher or lower?

5. Will I have to do any front valance trimming w/this set up?

Thank you guys SOOOO much. Wheels & tires are so foreign to me and I am just trying to read, learn, and soak up as much info abou them as possible & I have learned so much on this board.

Thanks again Guys...you all rock!!
