need help on wheel size

will a 16 inch wheel fit on an 07 xlt 4x4 crew cab? The man at the local shop said that i would be lucky to get 17's on it.

Due to brake rotor size, only 17+ will fit on the NBS. Have read some 17's have clearance problems.

Stock wheel is 17 x 7.5 with 5.5" backspacing.

17's,18's or 20's should fit. In '05 they had problem's with some 17's clearing the brake's.
