I'm not a huge fan of the MM 951s, partially because it seems everyone who's got a set of black wheels either has those or the Monsters.

I do like black wheels that have a little chrome on them. Ultra has some decent wheels, as does MKW (I originally ordered some MKW wheels, but it was approaching 4 months from the time I ordered, and the wheels were still "Being shipped from Korea" so I cancelled that order and got the Ultra Titan's I'm running now).

I totally dig Merc's rims. They have a little of both, which I think looks great on his truck. But I see some black rims on other guys truck's that look like ***.

I kinda look at it like this. Do you where black shoes - not dress more like tennis? Most people wear white right? Why don't more people where black tennis shoes? Something just looks off when you wear jeans, or light colored shorts with black shoes. I can't pinpoint it, but something is a little off.

Anyway, my buddy's jeep is an off-road machine and he has black steel rims. It looks good for his truck, but it's not a show truck - it has deep paint scratches from narrow trails and we cut and raised the fenders with a cutting wheel. It's a brawny little truck, not a show truck.....or even a clean one. He got the black ones because he was on a budget build and they were cheap.

If you go with black, do something like Merc's - the chrome contrast is nice.

Im a big fan of black wheels. But with a brown and tan truck chrome might be your best bet.

I have the anthracite grey. Not quite chrome, not quite polished.

I'm a major chrome fan, but on your truck, it "flows" better with the black. I don't like the rims so much, but those heads look sick!

Black!
