Stock Truck / New AT tires

I have a stock 2005 F150 Super Crew FX4 and I want an agressive AT tire for off road use. What is the biggest tire size I can go up to to get a little bit of a lift without rubbing? My truck is totally stock, no lifts of any kind. Sorry if this seems like a simple question, i'm not a mechanical guy.

I think you can run a 285/65-18 without any rubbing issues.

That is a great size for a stock 4x4, just make sure you have the 18" wheels!

I have a stock 05 screw, thinking about the leveling kit for it before i buy tires, what size tires should i go with, so it doesn't look crazy. just want to go a little bit bigger not much though.

A 12.5" wide tire will work with stock wheels? Really, aren't the wheels only 7.5"?

tons of members are running 12.5" on stock wheels. I have 35/12.50 and the fit great and only slightly rub at full lock

Looking a the Nitto website, they recommend at least a 8.0" wide wheel. so is this one of those what is recommended isn't always followed type of things?

Am I understanding this correctly that to go with a 33/12.5/18 no leveling kit is needed?

I have a 2.5" leveling kit w/ the 35's. Not sure if its not recommended or not. I just know it works for me and several other owners on here
