New tires and gas mileage.

Howdy folks,

I currently have the stock 255/65 R17s on my '05 Scab 5.4L. I am thinking of putting on BFG A/T 285/70 R17s along with a 2.5" leveling kit. I am currently getting a little over 16 mpg and was just wondering how much the new tires might rob my gas mileage.

Thanks

Not very much at all. Maybe .5-1mpg if that. Here is a good size conversion site I used when getting my tires.

I would guess around .5mpg as well.

If you have 3.73 gear's you probably won't notice a difference, but 16 mpg isn't too good with the stock tires.
