2006 F150 Lariat Screw 4x4 - I wanted to run BFG 35/12.5/18 Mud Terrain on stock rims with a 2" AS leveling kit and a rear 3" AS block. Would this set-up work or do I need to go with the 2.5 leveling kit for a 35" tire? Are there any disadvantages with a 2" AS leveling kit with a 35" tire?

 

I have the 2" with 35's and the front is slightly higher then the rear. I cant tell a difference between them. I went with the 2" just becuase I figured it wouldnt mess up the angles as bad (makes me feel better even though it dont matter.) I dont see how it makes a difference between them. They both work good.

 

I'm running a AS 2.5" kit for about 2 years now. No issues at all and it's perfectly level.

 

I would measure your truck and find out what will make it level.

I measured my truck today and it is exactly 2" lower in front, my truck was built in March '06.

 

My '04 sat so high in the rear from the factory, I had to use a 2 1/2" kit to level it out. Had it leveled out almost 3 yrs. ago with no problem's since.

 

My 04 also sat 3 inchs too high in rear i added the 2 1/2 and gained 3 inchs,now its perfectly level.
