Toyo MT question

Hello all. I'm new to the forum and also to F-150s (had it 7 months). I've been reading many posts about this topic but I still need clarification. It seems that you can run a 2-2.5 inch levelling kit and 35s with OE wheels. However, there will be minor rubbing on the upper control arms with a 12.5 wide tire. My question: Can I run 33x12.5r18 Toyos (or any other tire) on my OE 18 inchers without any kind of rubbing? If not I will simply go with a more narrow tire, but I would like to run 12.5 wide. Please advise and thank you in advance for any help offered.

Specs
2007 Screw 4x4 XLT 4.6L, 18 inch rims.

I am currently running the OE 275/65r18. As a last resort I may just run the 275/70r18 Toyo MT. Gotta get ready for some light Spring wheeling. Let me know what you guys think.

My 4x2 F150 is running on 33x12.50R18 Toyo M/T's on OEM rims. I have no rubbing issues. I think its only 4x4 that can run 35's with slight rubbing. I have a 2.5 leveling kit on mine. Hope that helps.

Good info garcia. I was just trying to clarify if a 4x4 will rub with 33x12.5 vs 35x12.5. i have the same wheels you do

I have no rubbing issues at all with my toyo mt's. They are 285 75 18
(35x 11.50 18). The 35 x 12.50 18's are run by another member on here and he has rubbing. Do a search and you will find everything you need including pics.

Oh i'm aware that anything more narrow will work just fine.. just want to see about 33 x12.5 will work.

I pmed a guy on here that had that size awhile back and he said they only rubbed once when he went 4 wheelin.

DDGARCIA, where did you get your tires from? Also, do you have any rubbing with them?
