08 fx4 s-crew 20x10????

i plan on 2.5 autospring leveling kit, 305/55/20 nitto terra grapplers, and i am stuck on the wheel size. what would 20x10 with 4.5 back space look like? how far would they stick out?? i am thinking i would like around 1-1.5 inch past the fender. i found a killer deal but if they wont look right i can see why its such a good deal on the rims. please help. thanks.

god bless.

They will stick out 3.5 inches farther than the oem 17 and 18 inch wheels.

sorry if its a dumb question, but is there a "formula" i can use to figire this out? 4.5 back space will stick out 3.5 inches further than stock "too much in my opinion" so what would i be looking for to stick out 1.5-2 inches on a 20x9inch i can choose 5.7 or 6.18 backspace. thank you sir.

god bless.

The oem 17 and 18 inch wheels are 7.5 inches wide with 5.5 inches of backspacing. So, that 10 inch wide wheel is 2.5 inches wider and has 1 inch less backspacing. 2.5+1=3.5. A 9 with 5.7 inches of bs would stick out about 1.5 inches farther than the oem wheels and a 9 with 6.18 inches bs would stick out about an inch more.

wandell thanks a million. the specs you gave with 5.71 sticking out 1.5 and the 6.18 about 1 inch is that a measurment of installing just a rim to check fitment past the fender, or is the 1.5 and 1 inch measurement including the tire balooning over the rim??? sorry i search and searched and your name came up in every thread. i appreciate the time and effort you have given to my cause here. plus the wife will kill me if i drop $2500 on rims and tires and i dont like how they fit. thanks again.

god bless.

No, those figures are just how much more the wheel itself will stick out compared to the oem 17 and 18 inch wheels.
