Some newb questions

Hey how's it going? I'm a newb coming from the complete opposite end of the spectrum (just sold my 2004 Cobra). If everything works out I should be picking up a black 08 Supercrew XLT this Friday. Here are the wheels I'm looking at throwing on:

http://www.tirepackage.com/partLists...35&ptID=100073

http://www.tirepackage.com/partLists...59&ptID=100073

http://www.tirepackage.com/partLists...49&ptID=100073

And I'll match it with some 285/70/17 BFGs or 295 Nittos. What backspacing do I need if I'm going with a 17 x 9 wheel?

Should I go with a 2.5" or a 2" leveling kit? My only concern is the TPMS. There are plenty of sites out there that will mount and balance my wheel/tire combo for a good price, but what do I do about the TPMS? Is there a way to use a programmer to turn the light off? Will I have to get my speedo re-calibrated with this tire size?

Thanks again for all the help in advance!

Oh and I think TireRack does the TPMS, but I just don't like the black wheels for their selection....plus I really like the Pro Comp ones....

Aftermarket 17" wheels look really small on newer F150's.I say go up to the 20's or at least 18's

Those Rockstars are hot! I guess my main concern about 20s is the expense of replacing the tires and availability of shops that would be able to mount and balance them for me when I got them replaced.

What about the leveling kit and the TPMS?

I will be changing my tires and wheels on my new F150 this week, I am going to take the sensors off the stock wheels and get some 3mm double sided tape. Tape it on the new wheel then run some safety wire through the loops of the sensor and around the wheel a couple times.

20's want be a problem at shops. Since now days they come factory with up to 22" wheels and tires. But they are more expensive So I feel ya on that note!

So really I shouldn't get the wheels/tires mounted/balanced from an online place because I need to throw the sensors in there if I don't want to deal with the light....
