I have a 3" PA body lift and ran 35" bfg tires on 16x8 wheels....they fit and only rubbed when wheel was fully turned...the one problem I did run into was that one of my wheels cracked in half right down the center while I was driving..but that was just a freak thing

Yes you will be fine, although I highly recommend doing suspension lift before body lift. Is there a reason you want to do a body lift first? If the body lift is on top of a suspension lift just to get a few more inches... thats one thing, but I dont really like lifting the body off of the frame any higher when there are other methods of lifting.
