HELP ME for my new rim/tire combo

Hey, guys. I have a set of American racing crater rims with pro comp 35x12.50x17 tires on my truck right now. I have an 05 F150 FX4 supercab with a fabtech 6 in. lift. The truck was purchased this way, so i am not sure about the rim sizes that will work. My tires stick out a lot more than the stock set up, and I think it looks pretty sweet. From what I have gathered I think that Fabtech recommends 5" of backspacing. I am interested in the KMC rockstar rims in an 18x9 and some nito mud grappler 35x12.50 Will the 5" of backspacing on the 18X9 have the same effect as my current set up. I have included a pic for reference. I have ben re searching for a while now, but I'm just starting to get confused about what wil work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys

They should be the same, 9" wide w/5" BS will stick out the same no matter if the wheel is a 17 or 18" diameter. I have a set of the Crater's myself that I use for a spare set.

Im just not sure what width rim is on the truck now. As soon as some nice weather comes, I'm gonna pull off a rim and check it out. Maybe I will take some measurements and figure out what backspacing I am currently using.

I would guess they are 9 inches wide with 5 inches BS, 0 degree offset. Look at the Am Racing site, I think that's the only specs on a 17" wheel 6x135mm.
