Stumped!
2004 f-150 screw. I'll cut to the chase - I've got a slight shimmy in the steering wheel at HW speeds. I've had 22's on the truck since new with the leveling kit installed. I tried everything on the 22's with no luck. I put the factory wheels back on, road force balanced them, got an alignment, checked the ball joints, and still have a little shake at about 70 mph. Right now, I am totally back to stock with the exception of the leveling spacers. The stock tires only had about 1000 mi on them so are pretty much brand new. My only idea is the steering box. I've heard rumors of a problem with the gearing in the steering having too much play causing a shimmy, but the build date on my steering was not within the problem time frame.
