Question Hey tire guys!

Need some opinions. Going to get some new shoes in the next week or so. I have narrowed it down to Nitto T/G's or BFG A/T's.
Which one is going to give me the best ride on the street since I spend 85% of my driving there??
Since the addition of the 2.5 leveling kit I know I need something with a more aggressive off road look then the stockers.
Also thinking of going from 265's to 285's.
How many mpg's can I expect to drop off my current average of 16?? (1/2 city and 1/2 highway)

Thanks for any input!
Don't ask for any pic's. I haven't figured out how the hell to post them yet.

I would say they are a close match in on-road ride. Another tire option is the ProComp all-terrain.

I real like the looks of the BFG's but the Nitto's are significantly cheaper.
I don't drive the truck a hole lot so wear is not realy on the top of my priorities.
How do the Procomp's compare in price? I see a lot of people running them on this site.

I'm pretty happy with my Terra Grapplers...awesome ride on the highway, not real loud, and decent looking...I've only got about 10K miles on them.

If you are concerned about an all terrain being noisy, maybe you should stick with a street tire!!!

Because both are great tires but the Nitto's are probably slightly better on the highway.

Maybe, lol. didn't mean to come off with the ATTITUDE,

I have had both sets of tires, Nitto TGs and BFG AT KOs. I would buy the Nittos over the BFGs because they are less money and ride a little better on the highway. Less noise!!!

I had the Toyo AT which is basically the same as the Nitto, same tread pattern, now I have the BFG. Both are really great tires the Nitto's will probably ride a little better on road while the BFG's will probably perform a little better off road. The BFG's are probably going to be a few hundred dollars more. I don't think you can go wrong with either, it's just going to come down your personal choice.

Looks like the Nitto's are going to be the best for my application and price range.
I cant believe the price dif between 265's and 285's in any brand!
I am leaning back towards 265's cause its just not worth a few hundred bucks for one inch more ground clearance.
thanks everyone.
