problem with my new xtreme a/t tires!!!

so i got me some 325/60r18 pro comp xtreme all terrains to put on my ultra goliaths the other day i have a 2.5" leveling kit as well. i took it to the tire shop to get them mounted and i got a call back a while later saying that they hit the control arms and i have to get wheel spacers to allow them to clear. i was wondering if spacers was my only option or is there another way to get rid of this without getting rid of my tires?

Wheel spacers at 4wheelparts were only $54 for the set. I would just go that route if you want to keep the tires.

I agree with getting the spacers. How wide are your rims and what is the backspacing on em?

You won't be able to fit those tires with those wheels without spacers.. You will need a wheel with specs very similar to that of the stock wheels. The stock specs are 18x7.5" with about 5.5" of BS.

With the 326/65R18 you will have rubbing as is and I would say if you want to keep your wheels then go with the spacers.

Spacers are very inexspensive and a good solution to problems just like yours.
I would get spacers and call it a day.

Are they rubbing badly or just barely? Is it only at full steering lock?

Taken from another thread. He had to cut a little off the valence but says he has no rubbing issues now. If you can return the rims and get some in this size go for it, but if not then get the spacers and you'll be set to go.

I got pictures in my gallery of leveling kit with 325/65/18. The mods and all. But not sure what the backspacing is. To get the backspacing would I put tape measure in center hub and get a straight edge across rim?
