285 70 17 or 35 12.50 17 BFG MT K2?

I got my 2.5 Top Gun Customz leveling kit the other day and i was about to buy some 285 70 17 BFG MTK2's but im wondering if i should go bigger. Im goin to be running them on my stock 17's for now. What do yall think? Go bigger?

I'd get the 285's if they are going on your stockers.

Im going to be upgrading to a 6in RCD or 8in Rize in Jan 09 and im also goin to upgrade to 20's but this is just to kinda satisfy me until then. I guess you might be right. I just have to be patient. I really hate having a completely stock truck so ive got to at least get those 285's.

I have that same leveling kit with 315/70/17s (basically 35x12.5) on stock rims. Im planning on a 6" lift this summer. I figured if I buy these now it wont be quite as hard of a hit when I get the lift installed. They are Mickey MTZs and I only have rubbing issues when Im at full lock.

Like they said, you can fit up to a 315/70-17 tire.
