widest tire on a 8 inch rim...

I have american racing baja's 16x8 with a set of 265/70/16 at's and i am wanting to get taller and wider tires soon. what is the widest i can go and not get alot of rub. and my torsion bars are cranked

id have to say the widest you could go would be 12.50 on a 16x8 wheel

!2.50 is about as far as i would push it as well. You get into a lot of tire roll if you go too big. if you need some tires or even new wheels to accomadate what you are wanting to do give me a call and i can help.
