Who Makes The Best Brake Pads

I have a 1998 F-150 4X4 with disc pads in the front and drums in the back. I am looking for the best quality pads (front & rear) that do not squeeeeeek. I just recently put a set of cheap pads (drum) on the rears and am getting a squeek right before my vehicle stops. The noise is driving me crazy because I use my vehicle to hunt. Thanks for your help

Installed and they seemed soft to the touch on my 98 F-150 4x4. Coming down a steep curvy paved mountain road with a stop sign at bottom, the Thermo Quiet pads faded and I coasted through the stop sign - scary. I will take them off and research safe replacements.

Something else might be to blame here, like grease on the rotors? Ya, spooky! Nice using the search and bringing a 3 year old thread to life again.
