Go Alon! UPS was knocking on the back door yesterday around 5 pm EST with my PosiQuiets! I was so happy! Now I have to find a way to put them on. I have no experience and my dad is loaded to the hilt in work!

I just ordered a complete set of Drilled Stop-Tech Rotors and Centric Posi Quiet Brake Pads from Mod-Bargains. Had 56,000 miles on the originals. No complaints there. Rotors were marginal at best, dealer wanted $900.00 for rotors and pads installed, (on top of the $800.00, 60,000k service they were already doing). Will take pics and update my album after I install them.
Any tips, suggestions?

How have they been, after running them for a few weeks?

I know I LOVE my stoptechs I just put on my truck, it made a huge difference.

update

This might not be popular, but it will be honest. I ordered my stop-tech rotors and pads from mod-bargains on the 6th, and 15 days, $600.00+, several emails, and 1 phone call later, and I still don't have any idea of when I will get the product . The complete lack of communication is beyond me. I thought about canceling, but they charge a "25% restocking fee" ($125.00), and not to mention the 2 weeks I've already invested into this.
I ordered from mod-bargains because they are a site sponsor, and I read a couple good reviews of them.
My frustration is off the charts. I have probably said enough for know, and will surely have to defend myself in the coming days over this update. Fair enough.

600.00 for rotors and pads. Holy smokes are those overpriced. And they look like the Powerslot from those above pictures.

Good stuff and priced very well. Spend the extra couple bucks and upgrade to his Premium Version though as they come powder coated black on the hub and vane area.

I said the wrong rotors above I meant Powerslots above. I have corrected that.

Rotorspros are far superior to the Powerslots

I ordered the drilled stop-tech, fronts were $239.00 a pair, rears were $226.00 a pair, Centric pads were $81.00, shipping is $60.00. total of $606.50. The drilled do come w/ black coating on them. Yes, they are expensive.
I do need to make a correction though, the order was placed on the 8th and not the 6th.

Jack, I am very sorry that you are frustrated about this, but I have not received any emails from you personally, and nobody in the office has alerted me of them either. I will be in the office all day tomorrow, feel free to email or call me and I will try to get you a better idea of when they will be out to you. Drilled rotors take longer, as nobody stocks them. As soon as the order comes in, they will take a new rotor and drill them as necessary. This can take a week to 10 business days.

I do not want any bad feelings between us and will make sure you are taken care of. Like I said, please give me a call or email me (with your order number) personally and I will respond as soon as possible.

Alon

Wow, you can get a set of four from Rotorpros for like 289.00 if memory serves me correctly. I think that is what i paid for the ones for my Mustang.

Stoptech now owns powerslot, and they will be one in the same thing in the next few weeks.

And Jack

I just looked over your order and it shows that it was placed at 3:45 on 4/9. Our order processors go home at 4:00. On 4/9 your order was sent out at 10:41 and was out of our control at that point.

"4/9/2008 3:45:46 PM (4/10/2008 10:41:03 AM)"

Like I said earlier, call me tomorrow or PM me your number and we'll get this all sorted out.

Alon-
I did ask for you when I called, I also mentioned this web-site.
I have spent a lot of money w/ Modbargains and have asked only 1 relatively simple question, " when can I expect my order?" If it was going to take 3 wks, 6 wks, 8 wks, somebody should have told tell me, 2 weeks ago. Wouldn't you agree? We wouldn't be having this conversation if they had.

I ordered these not only because I wanted them, but I need them as well. For all I know, my order could be on its way right now. I have no way of knowing, and that is the part I am having a problem with. Don't tell me what you think I want to hear, give me the truth, period. If you say the 21st, than it is the 21st. If you know it won't be until the 28th, and you tell me the 21st, WE have a problem.

I hate that I have become the proverbial "squeaky wheel". I do not require preferential treatment. I just want what I pay for. Mandy or Mike should have followed this up first thing Monday a.m. Again, we probably wouldn't be having this conversation if they had.

I am pretty certain that I will love everything when i get it. I'm sure it will perform as advertised, and I am also fairly certain that this will quickly become a fading memory. I am frustrated with the communication, and will keep that in mind in future dealings.
