Best brakes on the market???

I put new ceramic brakes on last Decemeber and now I have a HORRIBLE screeching/squealing noise when I depress the brakes. Could this be the rotors or is it definately the brake pads? If I need to replace the pads what are the best pads on the market right now? I need NO noise, little to no brake dust, and most importantly NO NOISE!!! ANy suggestion should help. Thanks

Ceramic pads are harsh on rotors. I would go with either Carquest Blue Semi Metallics or Wagner Thermo Quiets. Both are very good pads with little dust output.

I'm a Carquest blue semi-metallic poster child, nothing but good results. I am trying their ceramics right now on the rear and so far, a few hundred km's, they are great.

Stoptech Slotted rotors and centric posi quiets. I have heard only great reviews from customers, and I just installed these on my truck on friday. I took a road trip towing a 16 foot dual axle trailer with a buggy/camping gear/firewood on it with my ranger and it stopped GREAT with NO trailer brakes. I love my new rotors and pads and highly recommend them.

I think the majority is carquest Blue. I can't afford rotors right now, and hopefully the ones I have on there are okay for now. I'm just surprised that my brakes went out within 6 months. I don't remembe rwhat brand they were, but they were about $80 for all 4. I'll try the carquest blue and see how they do. Any places you guys know of to get it for cheap"?

So I buy some of my stuff from RockAuto and found their prices and service to be great. If anyone has the time and can help me out I don't know which one of the brakes I need on the following page. I heard that Raybestos makes the Carquest blues and on the page linked below there's about 30 different types and I ahve not idea the difference in them. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

I have a 2004 F150 Fx4 crew cab 4wd. I think I just need the front ones replaced right now.
