**** Cepek Mud Country 36x15.50R16LT

Hey, ok well idk if i should have put this in suspension, but its more of a tire question. I have **** cepek mud country on my truck right now and i love them, and am lifting my truck, i was origianally going to do 6" suspension and 3" body but im not going to because of gas $, so im doing a 6" fabtech suspension and they say you can only do 35's. but i was wondering if anybody has done 36's on a 6 inch suspension cus i want a lil bigger? ( actually there 35.4) Did you have to trim at all? wheel spacers? just wondering if anyone has and maby i could see some pics if you got um. Thanks

im going to be running that setup next year 6" fabtech 36" Ground Hawgs. if they rub too much then ill get the BL

You can Crank your torsion bars up for 1-2" but with your tires being so wide there might be a little problem there! im getting the 14.5" wide in the Hawgs i wanted something like 10-11" wide but they dont offer it in 36's.

The tires will be tight and you said that the only reason for not going with the 3" BL is gas prices the BL wont affect you gas.

I think you will have problems because of the 15.50 inch width. I'd stick with a wide 35 inch tire like a 35x13.50.

The BL will affect the mileage some.

yeah now that i think about it it will make it easier for air to get into the nooks and crannies of the frame thus causing more drag but i dont think its gonna be that noticeable!

besides the truck being taller punching a bigger hole in the air and causing more drag. I agree with trim though it will probably not be very noticable or at least less than the 6" susp lift would be.

Also, wider tires create more rolling resistance, which also hurts gas milage.

well depends most people on here with a 35" tires that are 12.5" wide a 15.5" wide tire is gonna be alot. Im sure theres a mathamatical solution that can give you the rolling resistance between the 12.5 and 15.5 but im not sre what it is.

Also if you plan on taking this offroad the wider heavy tires arent gonna want to spind with the caked with mud or sand. I like the look of wide tires but the performance of Narrow tires is great. If you dont already have the tires id suggest something in 11.5-13.5 this is a good look and not to narrow.
