285/65/18's

Looking for pics of trucks with this size tire. I have 35's now but I hate them and dont really know if its the tire or the size or what. Figure I may get 33's and save money on tires, hopefully better ride and better mpg. So post up some pics plz! I have a 2.5" level kit with stock wheels, and dont want the tires to look to small.

isnt that the stock sized tire on a FX4? It looks way to small IMO.

What about a 305x65x18 BFG, right under 34 inches tall.

Check my gallery, I'm running that size BFG A/T, without a leveling kit though.

Yep, and that size look's puny on a leveled 4x4 even though they are close to 32 inches tall. I still have my stocker's sitting in my garage.

IMO the 285/65 look a lil small w/ leveling kit and the 305/65 look a lil wide.... its hard finding the perfect tire

i think 35x1250 on stock wheels lookks awesome..

I agree they look awsome, but I was considering smaller since I lost my carpool guy and now have to drive my gas guzzling/tank riding truck every day 90 mile round trip; but, I'll prolly end up with some more 35's if I dont go trade it in.

Mine are 285 65R18 Nitto's, with a 2.5 AS. I go back and forth sometimes, wishing I'd gone bigger - but in the end they don't cause any issues and I think they fit the wheel really well. They end up right around 32.6" tall...

vinson-- the 285's worked out perfect for me. I wanted a bigger and more aggressive tire, but didn't want a tire that would rub. The truck is stock w/o a leveling kit.

cool, just wish i could see them up close on a stock 18" wheel with a leveling kit. As of now im going for the 305 65 18 by bfgoodrich but kinda pricey! The 285's are a good bit less.
