Gas Prices are Stopping me from....

Wanted to do a small lift but decided to wait. Then I was all primed to put on a leveling kit, and throw on some aftermarket wheels and 305/55/20's.
I promised myself my next truck I was gonna mod a bit. Since I was limited with the last truck because of the snow plow/work truck thing.

So here I am with the bug to mod, but the cost of fuel is keeping me from doing so. So Im torn, spend the money or wait it out. Found a guy willing to part with some toyos he had but they are 305/50/20 which means they will fit without a level and will be closer to my stocker tires in size and revolution's. But Really wanted to go with 33's. BUT with fuel prices....man I dont know.

Thinking I could get his tires, some wheels and when (who knows when) fuel prices come down some. I could get my 33's and put them on.

What do you guys think..

What do I think ???

Man I'm sorry to tell you what I think.... But you asked.

I think gas might fall 20 cents, then go up 50 cents.... then fall 20 more cents, then go up 70 cents more....
What I'm saying is, I don't think we will ever see gas less than $3 a gallon again, and I wouldn't be a bit surprised if it hit $5 a gallon (okay.... like $4.97 and 9/10... it's a psychology thing) by this time next year.

Hey believe me, if I didn't have a boat to pull, I wouldn't be buying a new truck. But I don't have much choice. Fishing is my life..... So I pay whatever gas costs, or jump off a tall bridge :-(

Fish

PS, I totally hope I'm wrong......
