20" on 4x2 xl with 2.5" front lift

Hey guys what kind of tire would go with 20" wheels on an 4x2 xl with 2.5" front lift. I was thinking about going with the american racing thug wheels or ion alloy 185.

i have been looking for 20's to and from what i have been told do not go with a rim wider than 9 inches, and have at least 5 inches of backspacing...also you can run up to a 305/55/20 tire...i have not ordered my wheels and tires yet but i will by the end of this weekend...ill shoot you some pics when i get them on

I have some of the same questions, but wanted to add:

Will there be any rub issues with the 305/55R20's if I do not have the 2.5 leveling kit on yet?

i think there will be man because the largest total diameter you can run on a 2wd with a leveling kit is 33x12.5...and a 305/55/20 is a 33x12.5

I wouldn't try 305/55-20's without a leveling kit on a 4x2.

Im sorry I asked the question earlier without giving all the details.

I have a 05 4x4 SCREW - Do you still think there will be rubbing issues without the 2.5" Leveling Kit?

The 4x4's sit about 2 inches taller than the 4x2's so you should be fine.
