I have stock Aluminum 16" wheels on my 93", Im blacking out my truck.
Insted of replacing the rims with black ones, is there anyone i can paint them myself? I have some pretty good experiance painting. But can i just paint them with dupli color? An will they stay that way? Like it wont come off i power wash the brake dust off? Should i use high heat paint?
Im lost here...Can someone give me some good prep and paint instuctions?

Hey Ranger....
they probably would not be hard to paint if you had them bead blasted first, so the paint would have something to bond too...
But quite honestly, with something that is so subject to chipping, as wheels are, I'd strongly consider having them bead blasted, and powder coated.
Recently, one of the members here had a set of 20" OEM's black powder coated, and they looked bad *** ! Honestly, IMPO, they looked as good (or better) than a lot of the aftermarket wheels I see !
Look into it.
Peace,
Fish
