Spare Tire Question

Spare Tire Question
I have a set of 18x9 wheels wrapped with the 35x12.50x18 Toyo MT's to be put on my truck. But I was thinking about a spare if that issue ever arises. Where can I find a CHEAP tire of equivalent height to the 35’s be it either a 33.5-34” that will fit my 17” spare? Will it matter that my spare is a 17” wheel compared to the new 18’s that I am putting on and running in case of a flat? Or will I be fine with the stock spare on the front and just limp it to the nearest tire shop? I have read where people on here "THINK" a 35" tire will fit under the truck but does anyone have any actual knowledge of this? Thanks.
Carl
PS: If anyone has a tire that will fit my 17" or combo please let me know...my ad is in the the classified section.

Check your tire shop and ask them if they have any old ones that are the same size that somebody turned in when they got new tires. Ortell them to keep an eye out for any that might come in if they don't already have them. Who cares what condition in there in as long as it fits. Its only gonna be on long enough to get the flat one fixed. They'll probably give it to you for free and only charge you for the mounting and balancing. Worth a shot. Thats what I plan on doing when I upgrade my OEM wheels.
