Talking 285/75/16's w/3" Body Lift PICS!!!!!!!!

Ive had the setup for a few weeks still need to do some things

1. GAP GAURDS

2. Transmission Shift Cable

3. I want to enlarge the front bumper holes so i cant mount it a little higher.

4. Cut the Brush Gaurd's Brackets and weld them in the angle i need them!

5. Crush Blocks havent been put in yet! DO'H

6. Wash the truck and the undercarriage!

I left the 285/75/16's on the truck because they only have 15k miles on them.

Special thanks go out to Jon (minimonster) for 20hrs worth of help!

Nice.

I'd bet a mirror upgrade would fairly inexpensive.

It really doesnt look all that bad! As you can tell it sits slightly higher than my stepdads F250.

I actually love the look of the single cabs lifted, not sure why but i always have. I think since the truck is so short it just looks higher!

My tires might be coming off here soon, but they might only stay off for a few days. Ill explain on Monday or Tuesday...

You know ive been thinking the same thing. Im just not sure what to get! Or where to get them. I dont want sport mirrors at all. But something nicer than the Mickey Mouse ears would be a plus!

Thanks agian everyone! Ill be starting a Progress thread within the next few days so i can keep track of the differences. It will be over in the appearance section!

not normally a fan of body lifts, but get the gap covers and its pretty sweet, good call on keepin the tires, they arent cheap and youve go another 40,000 worth of tread to go

Im actually making my own gap gaurds i didnt like the price tag on the PA ones but after i look into it i might just get them anyway.

The tires will be coming off on monday for larger ones but im not sure how long this will last maybe a few minutes maybe a day or a week. Gotta see how the v6 will handle the load without gears until septemeber!

Im definitely keeping my BFG's for the occasional LONG trip or something. I know i wont get anywhere near what i payed for them if i try to sell them. They have 97% of the tread left and i doubt id get 600 for them!

ah finally the pics. well worth the wait. i get a huge sense of accomplishment after putting on a lift and seeing how it looks afterwards, knowing that I helped to make it happen.
