whats the most back spacing?

I have a 97' f150 4X4ORP s.cab and i am soon to put on a 3'' body and im in the market for some wheels and tires. I really would like to put 20'' rims and 35'' tires but with tires that big I know it limits my wheel choices because I want as little rubbing as possible.

Use a 9 or 10 inch wide wheel with 4.5 or 5 inches of backspacing. A 10 inch wide wheel with 4.5 inches of backspacing with a 35x12.50 tire is a tight fit with a 3 inch body lift. That is what I'm running.

Yeah, they should work out fine. Use one of the online conversion calcuators to make sure that offset is the same as 4.5 to 5 inches of backspacing.
