Paint it Black!!

What's goin' on? Iv'e been a lurker on these forums for quite a while, not sure if i've even made a post yet. Anyway, initially I wasn't going to do anything to this truck, but I got these wheels and tires for almost nothing. Now I have seen onther XL's with these wheels before, but never painted, so as far as I know these are the first fx2 oem 20's painted flat black. Hope ya like.[

Hello Kwonrae....

I think those particular 20" stock wheels, painted or powder coated black (no matter how you arrive there) are about as good looking as they get ! Although that style rim in chrome looks good too "IF" your going for the chromed look.

Suggestion though...... I'd really have to do something with the "dark charcoal" lower and rear bumpers there.....
In fact, I'm probably going to end up with those same ones (long story) and I first expected to have them powder coated in satin black..... But now I think I've decided to haver mine painted to match my body color (Stone Green).

Oh, and a lot of guys are going to the blacked headlights..... HD's, Hella's, or "oven baked".... Check them out, and see what you think. I think they would look great on your truck.... but that's just MPO.

Peace,
Fish

Headlights and tailights yes. As far as the bumpers go, Iwant to leave them like that so people still know that it's an XL. I am not competing in any shows, I just want something different.

I plan on doing my tailights like yours though. Thanks for the comments, my center caps are under construction now, they look badass.

I masked off the blue "ford" and the plastic lug nuts, and painted the center cap black as well. It looks cool.

The tire is 275/60/20 I think. No leveling kit, these wheels are all that I have done.

My truck isn't with me right now but I would guess from the ground to the top of the tire is between 26-28 inches.
