Definately dont get nitto mud graplers. They are a very agressive tire and look good if thats what you want, but they make alot of noise and wear quickly. If i could go back in time i would definately have gone with toyo m/t instead.

I thought the ProComp extremes were pretty quiet. I dont see why no one likes the Mudd Grapplers, I dont think they are great, but compared I think they are pretty decent. I can hear my radio with the windows down no problem. Its a soild whine vise, a wah wah wah wah effect.

 

i like my mud grapplers just too many nag about noise so i was being honest so if the guy doesnt want loud tires not to get them.i have heard mixed reviews on wear though.

 

At least they make mud tires now that you can run on the highway, 30 year's ago if you had them on a truck you almost couldn't run them on the highway's down here, too much rain that would cause you to hydroplane easily and the heat in the summer would cause them to blowout at high speed's for any long distance driving. They were designed for offroad mainly at low speed's and 10 to 20k miles on the pavement they were shot. I got used to the all-terrains and for what I do they serve me fine.
