Where will 35's rub?
2005 F150 4x4 with AS 2.5" and 17x9 4.75"BS - I want to run 315/70/17's but I want to know if i'll be okay with rubbing on the INSIDE of the wheel well and if not, how much modding with have to be done? I'm not worried about fender/bumper/valance clearance as I'm going to an aftermarket pre-runner style bumper that gives me a lot of clearance in the front. If not then I'm gonna leave it stock and run 33's - Thanks guys (and Wandell) ...lol

keep in mind that the more backspacing means the more of the wheel is tucked inside the fenderwell and subsequently is closer to all of the suspension components -

Would this work for the 2WD as well? I am actually looking at a 17x8 with 5.5 BS that I really like.

Why would he need 33's? I have 33 on those same spec wheels on a 2wd with very minor rubbing at full lock. I would think the additional 2 inches would help clear that.

How bad does it rub? Did you have to modify the wheel well in any way? What lift, wheel size/backspacing and tire size are you running? Any pics? Thanks bro..

Sorry I took so long. Been out of town. Ive got the 2.5 AS with 305/65R17 Extreme AT's on 17x9 wheels with 4.75 BS. I have not modified my wheels wells in any way. They only rub the inner rear(closest to the cab) part at full lock and its very slight. I can even hear it, just slightly feel it through the stering wheel. I will get pics.
